Participants of ASCRS Young Physician Exchange Program Set to Attend the ASCRS•ASOA Annual Meeting

For the third year in a row, ASCRS will be welcoming three physicians who were nominated to participate in the Young Physician Exchange Program and attend the annual ASCRS•ASOA Annual Meeting.

The Young Physician Exchange Program focuses on fostering relations between the societies, exposing the exchange physicians to clinical practices in other countries, providing exposure to each societies’ meeting culture and promoting each other’s meeting.

The participants for this year are:

ASCRS•ASOA Annual Meeting Features New Industry Spotlight Theater

For the first time, the annual ASCRS•ASOA Annual Meeting will be offer a series of product-focused education sessions (non-CME) in the Exhibit Hall. The Industry Spotlight Theater will provide attendees with overviews and comparisons across multiple ophthalmic product categories.

The ASCRS Programming Committee has carefully selected nine topics of interest, which will be discussed in a series of presentations.

Meeting Spotlight: Cataract and Glaucoma: Individualizing Care to Optimize Outcomes

Cataract and glaucoma cases vary widely from one patient to the next. Learn about tailoring each case to the patient by attending the Cataract and Glaucoma:  Individualizing Care to Optimize Outcomes Symposium, Sunday, May 7, 8 – 9:30 a.m. during the 2017 ASCRS•ASOA Annual Meeting in Los Angeles. This symposium is pre-approved to qualify for ABO Self-Assessment CME (SACME) credit.
