Young Eye Surgeons (YES)

Who is a part of YES?

Every ASCRS member or non-member, domestic or international, who belongs to any of the following categories within anterior segment surgery:

  • Resident
  • Fellow
  • First 5 years of practice

ASCRS aims to engage with young ophthalmologists in a meaningful way through content targeted directly to the young eye surgeon knowledge level, such as the YES (Young Eye Surgeons) Advanced Cataract Training meeting, the Programming for Young Eye Surgeons at the 2016 ASCRS•ASOA Symposium & Congress, Web Seminars run by the YES Committee, Peer-Reviewed Clinical Reports, upcoming Online Learning CME Modules, Live Meeting Sessions and EyeWorld Events at various ophthalmology meetings, and more. ASCRS/YES Legislative Fly-In Scholarship

New for 2016, ASCRS YES members are encouraged to apply for the Legislative Fly-In Scholarship for the opportunity to travel to Washington, DC to learn about policy issues affecting ophthalmology and meet directly with their members of Congress. Learn more and apply now.
