This week, CMS extended post-disaster ASC Quality Reporting exemptions and flexibilities to all facilities located in Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands following Hurricane Maria. This week’s announcement extends the territory on Puerto Rico already covered by the previous disaster declaration from Hurricane Irma. Exemptions remain in place for localities in Texas, Louisiana, and Florida also impacted by severe weather. Full details are available on  CMS’ Hurricane website.
