Food and Drug Administration (FDA) Announces First Meeting of Pharmacy Compounding Advisory Committee; Agenda Includes Discussion of Bulk Substances 
This week, FDA announced the first meeting of the Pharmacy Compounding Advisory Committee, which will be held February 23 and 24, 2015. The committee will discuss proposed criteria for developing the list of bulk drug substances that may be used to compound drug products and will discuss six substances nominated for inclusion on the list. In addition, the committee will discuss proposed additions to the list of drugs that may not be compounded.
