In this video we present a newly, designed instrument, that combines needle- and grasping function. In several cases dealing with aphakia or with IOL-luxation we explain our surgical approach utilising the forceps-needle for fixation or re-fixation of IOLs to the sclera. We demonstrate that externalisation of haptics or sutures for the different flanging-techniques is facilitated significantly.
