Maintaining intraocular pressure (IOP) at the surgeons’ desired IOP during all stages of cataract surgery is highly desirable. This video will examine reasons surgeons used high IOP in the past, the benefits of more physiologic IOP and why new technology may allow surgeons to perform cataract surgery at lower IOP while still maintaining excellent IOP control.
