Phacoemulsification is one of the first procedures a trainee undergoes in their residency. The difficulties include microscope focusing, instrument manipulation,maintaining anterior chamber stability,capsulorrhexis,setting phaco parameters with hand-eye-foot coordination. This video narrates the various steps of phacoemulsification with their complications and what could be done to manage them.
