In the case of penetrating ocular trauma in a 57-year-old male, we demonstrate that the Zepto capsulotomy device is an important tool for performing a curvilinear capsulorrhexis, particularly in mature cataracts with zonular instability. Flange technique can be employed for scleral fixation of the intraocular lens and iridodialysis repair.
