The snare trochar loop is a designed to retrieve a suture from the eye. It employs a minimally invasive trochar pass through the sclera in the pars plicata region to capture and externalize the second pass of the lasso suture fixation. It is utilized when performing the lasso suture technique for subluxated intraocular lenses.
