This video describes a new technique for insertion of the Staar Evo ICL. It allows direct tucking of the phakic IOL haptics under the iris. This reduces iris contact which minimizes pupillary constriction. Benefits include shorter surgical time, easier removal of viscoelastic material as well as easier insertion of the IOL in small pupil cases.
