This video shows Carlevale lens implantation in a 6-year-old patient with ectopia lentis and previous lens extraction. The procedure involved creating two Hoffman scleral pockets and a 25-gauge core vitrectomy. The Carlevale IOL, set at 25 diopters, was successfully implanted. Designed for adults, the Carlevale lens is effective in pediatrics due to its flexible, stress-reducing haptics.
