A man tripped and fell while holding a bottle of beer which entered his right orbit with extraordinary force. The only exam finding was 90% zonular dialysis sparing a few inferior fibers. Using manual small-incision technique and a 27-gauge needle, the dangling, encapsulated lens was levitated posteriorly and delivered in one piece. A CZ70BD lens was sutured to the sclera using 7-0 Gore-Tex.
