Session III: Cataract Refractive Surgery - Past, Present, and Future

About this Session

Session Moderators: Kendall E. Donaldson, MD, MS, ABO; Jennifer M. Loh, MD, ABO

“Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it.” For 50 years, ASCRS has educated cataract and refractive surgeons by embracing new approaches, new techniques, and new technology. This year, Refractive Day will highlight the experiences from a half century of corneal refractive surgery, cataract refractive surgery, and the business of refractive surgery. We will apply these learnings to the practices and procedures of today, and we will reflect on how this wisdom can guide us in the development of technology and patient care for the future.
