24-year-old patient with intumescent cataract and a temporal iris defect, 1y after PPV for penetrating injury to his left eye. Patient underwent cataract surgery, during which a radial tear in the ant. capsule was observed (""Argentinian flag"") and managed appropriately, with in-the-bag IOL implantation. Patient also underwent pupilloplasty using the Siepser technique, with satisfactory results.
