To assess the feasibility of substituting dilatation with ultra-widefield fundus imaging combined with an in-house AI-assisted classification algorithm for retinal screening. Trained and validated on 10,000 patient images, the AI differentiated normal from abnormal retinas, enabling targeted referrals and significantly reducing outpatient workflow time while enhancing overall patient experience
