Tenon’s capsule formation is a leading cause of valve implant failure. Capsulectomy has shown limited effectiveness when compared to a second valve implant surgery. While we still recommend a second implant in most patients, revision is a viable option in well selected cases. In the following video we describe several tips and techniques to improve the safety and effectiveness of the procedure.
