This film shows different surgical techniques for amniotic membrane (AM) transplantation using inlay and overlay methods. Inlay AM grafts can be used for corneal thinning and perforation, stem cell scaffolding, pterygium surgery, and conjunctival / fornix reconstruction. Temporary AM patches can be used for ocular burns, Stevens-Johnson syndrome, persistent epithelial defects, and dry eye disease.
