We demonstrate a technique for rescuing a preloaded endothelial graft during DMEK. While checking graft mobility and ejecting air from the Straiko-Jones tube, it is possible to inadvertently eject the graft into the BSS containing petri dish. We reposition the Straiko-Jones tube and use the wider end of the tube, thus increasing ease of graft recovery and minimizing damage to the donor tissue.
