Purpose: To present a case of severe keratoscleritis initially considered for enucleation. Methods: A 14 mm keratoplasty resolved infection; subsequent phacoemulsification with failed CTR led to Yamane-fixated IOL and DSAEK. Results: Clear graft and uncorrected VA of 20/40. Conclusions: Staged surgery enabled vision salvage in an eye once deemed unsalvageable.
