The iris-fixated Artisan IOL is a key option for aphakia without capsular support. We present a novel transconjunctival enclavation technique using a needle for posterior iris manipulation, reducing intraocular handling. We feel this technique has excellent surgical efficiency and optimizes centration. In six adult cases, outcomes showed good vision, stable anatomy, and minimal complications.
