Ophthalmia nodosa is an ocular inflammatory condition triggered by the embedment and migration of insect hair, commonly caterpillar setae, into ocular tissues. Timely identification and complete removal are crucial in preventing migration causing vitritis,papillitis ,scleral abscess and endophthalmitis.This video illustrates the search for the unseen caterpillar hairs in the angle and its removal.
