Calcified anterior capsules are a challenge. We describe a novel 3 point approach in dealing with these calcified capsules.Initial small primary rhexis is created, the underlying plaque is dissected out and removed and finally secondary larger rhexis is done. By following this 3 point protocol we can successfully create a rhexis in eyes with large calcified plaques on the anterior capsules.
