Sewing machine technique for surgical repair of a 120° iridodialysis. Using a 10-0 polypropylene suture inside a 25G long needle a pass is made from the anterior chamber through the iris and scleral bed at the dialysis site. With a repeated motion: iris root - sclera - suture loop- iris root, resembling the rhythmic up-and-down motion of a sewing machine. Repairing 120° with just one knot
