This video demonstrates using a very simple technique how to accurately measure the vault of a phakic ICL lens at the slit- lamp in a few seconds, without requiring OCT. The slit-lamp beam is moved so that the shadow seen on the anterior surface of the crystalline lens is coincident with the rim of the ICL hole. The shadow is then displaced exactly 0.36mm and the vault is easily calculated.
