This video presents a smart yet simple solution to the slit lamp: a motion sensor built into the chinrest. The lamp switches on only when a patient places chin at chin rest and turns off when moves away. By reducing switch use, it lowers cross-infection risk, saves energy, extends life span of bulb. It makes everyday eye care more sustainable.
