End gripping forceps has been always used in the field of vitreo-retinal surgery and here we show ways of using the same in conditions of endophthalmitis. Thick membranes above the iris in endophthalmitis are difficult to grab and remove using conventional forceps and the end gripping forceps have made removal using 1mm side port incision a safe and better alternate.
