Celebrating the 50th Anniversary of ASCRS

The 50th anniversary of ASCRS (1974–2024) kicked off at the 2024 ASCRS Annual Meeting and will continue as a yearlong celebration that will recognize the founders and early members, the successes of the Society as it has supported its member ophthalmologists and the specialty as a whole, and the innovative spirit that developed over the years and will continue to advance the education, advocacy, and philanthropy of anterior segment surgery.

Take a look at the history of ASCRS in the new 50th Anniversary Timeline. For an even more in-depth history, read through 50 Years of ASCRS 1974–2024: Celebrating trailblazers, innovators, and educators in ophthalmology.
