ASCRS This Week April 24 2024

It's National Volunteer Week

ASCRS Thanks Its Tireless Volunteers

The leadership and education produced throughout the year and at the ASCRS Annual Meeting would not be possible without the dedication of physician volunteers.

From the Executive Committee helping guide the direction of the Society to those on Clinical Committees to those proctoring skills transfer labs at the Annual Meeting to those meeting with their local lawmakers in advocacy efforts, the success of the Society and the profession depends on ASCRS members.

In recognition of National Volunteer Week, thank you for all you do!

Give the Gift of Sight with the ASCRS Foundation

This National Volunteer Week, commit to learning about the opportunities available to give back and provide the gift of sight through the charitable cataract surgery work of the ASCRS Foundation’s Operation Sight program.

Operation Sight is powered by a nationwide network of volunteer surgeons and their colleagues from ASCRS and other established organizations. Operation Sight volunteers are committed to caring for those who could not otherwise afford life-changing cataract surgery. Learn more about getting involved directly or through financial support.
