This episode features a case of “Intra-op Surprise: A Shaky Situation,” involving a patient with a history of uveitis who was found to have significant zonular loss during the surgery. The case was presented by Shariq Hashmi, MD. A second case involved discussion of the development of postoperative malignant glaucoma and how to manage it and was presented by Nathan Shenkute, MD. Alex Knezevic, MD, and Eric Weinlander, MD, chaired the session, with moderator Manjool Shah, MD, and panelists Charlie Frank, MD, and Angela Verkade, MD.
