It’s More Than Taking in Sessions
While the ASCRS Annual Meeting is known for its education, the ASCRS experience extends well beyond the session rooms.
The ASCRS experience is defined by the run-ins with colleagues and mentors in the hallway between sessions, the meetings with industry representatives in the ASCRS Exhibit Hall, the drinks with friends—old and new—in the Tap Room, and the organized and impromptu breakfasts and dinners outside the convention space.

Three ASCRS Live! Events Left for 2024
There are three locations left for ASCRS Live!, the regional dinner series that’s been making its way to several U.S. cities this year. The primary focus at each event will be refractive cataract surgery along with a secondary, rotating topic.
Here’s what’s coming up:
- November 7: San Diego, California
- November 14: Charlotte, North Carolina
- December 5: Denver, Colorado
These events, targeted to a smaller audience and open to local ophthalmologist members and nonmembers, will include ample time for open discussion and questions. Click here to register for one of these in-person events.
