Ophthalmology Quicksand Chronicles: Eureka Moments! hosts Nicole Fram, MD, and Elizabeth Yeu, MD, welcomed guest Sumitra Khandelwal, MD, from Baylor College of Medicine in Texas, for the second episode in Season 4.
In “Controlling the Misbehaving Iris” Dr. Khandelwal takes us through three short cases of intraoperative iris complications and the quick surgical maneuvers that will teach surgeons how to gain back control. Inaugural ‘BRiCS’ Summit Held in Texas
ASCRS hosted the inaugural Business of Refractive Cataract Surgery (BRiCS) Summit in Texas last week. Attendees of this first-of-its-kind event increased their knowledge and gained resources to grow their use of advanced-technology IOLs in order to meet patient demand for increased spectacle independence and also tap into a sustainable revenue stream that’s independent of reimbursement.
