This program is targeted to a smaller audience to foster meaningful discussion and connections. Open to both members and nonmembers, this is a great opportunity to bring a friend or colleague to engage on current topics and learn about ASCRS.

Help Educate by Sharing Your Case Videos
There are still opportunities to get involved with the 2026 ASCRS Annual Meeting. Several sessions have a special call for submissions for specific case videos. Submitting your videos can help educate your colleagues in various topics.
There are opportunities within:
- Get H.I.P. (High Impact Pearls in 90 seconds or less): This session will focus on “High Impact Pearls.” ASCRS is asking members to submit brief, short-form videos (<90 seconds) for inclusion in these sessions. Videos will be selected for presentation on stage and will be followed by panel discussion.
- Challenging and Complicated Cases in Cataract Surgery: This symposium, sponsored by the Cataract Clinical Committee, is searching for case videos that involve any aspect of phaco, femtosecond cataract surgery, and/or IOLs.
- Retina for the Anterior Segment Surgeon: The Retina Clinical Committee is looking for case videos that involve retina or vitreous and that are relevant to the anterior segment surgeon.
- Glaucoma Day—Reay of Hope: The Glaucoma Clinical Committee is in search of case videos that involve complicated cases, with an interesting teaching point, in the glaucoma space.
- Surgical Resilience—Bouncing Back from the Unexpected (YES Symposium): This symposium, sponsored by the YES Clinical Committee, is an opportunity for young eye surgeons to share unusual or challenging video cases from their practice.
Submissions are due January 16. Submit your case here.
ASCRS Foundation Awards Submissions
The ASCRS Foundation offers several unique award and grant opportunities. Submission periods for the Resident Excellence Awards are open now. Submission periods for Operation Sight Grants and the Volunteer of the Year Award will open at a later time. Additional information can be found on the ASCRS Foundation website.
Resident Excellence Awards
Submissions open September 1–November 14
The ASCRS Foundation makes 10 Resident Excellence Awards annually to enable ophthalmology residents exhibiting exemplary performance to attend the ASCRS Annual Meeting. The categories for consideration include research, patient care, leadership, and education.
