The insertion of CAIRS tissue can be difficult due to bunching up of the tissue within the host cornea. The curvature of the channels, limited working space, and the pliability of the CAIRS segments can make insertion of the tissue more difficult and time-consuming. This video demonstrates a new technique using a capsular tension ring to assist with the manipulation and insertion of CAIRS tissue.
