SightLine at ASCRS and the Business of Interventional Glaucoma Take Place Tomorrow
There’s still time to make your plans to attend two programs taking place tomorrow at the Westin DC Downtown, ahead of the ASCRS Annual Meeting.
SightLine at ASCRS is a one-day business meeting hosted by ASCRS and ASOA. This year’s program is focused on “How Ophthalmology Works with the Government,” bringing together surgeons, practice leaders, industry partners, regulators, and payors to examine the forces shaping commercial ophthalmology today—and what they mean for your practice tomorrow. Sessions will address reimbursement pressures, market dynamics, patient communication strategies, and how practices of all sizes can position themselves for long-term success.
The Business of Interventional Glaucoma program also takes place tomorrow. Register today, and be there for a program that can help shape how you think about your future practice—not just clinically, but strategically. Interventional glaucoma is evolving rapidly—and the surgeons who understand the business side early will be better positioned long-term.
Attendees have the option to cross over between both SightLine at ASCRS and the Business of Interventional Glaucoma programs.

'Closing the Gap’ Webinar Series and Annual Meeting Symposium
Two webinars in the “Closing the Gap” series from the ASCRS Refractive Surgery Clinical Committee are now available online. Don’t miss the conclusion of the three-part refractive series at the ASCRS Annual Meeting! Attend the “Finishing the Job: The Playbook for Refractive Enhancements” symposium on Saturday, April 11 from 3:30–5:00 p.m.
The first webinar, Finishing the Job – Enhancements Following Lenticular Refractive Surgery, features ASCRS Refractive Surgery Clinical Committee members as they target key educational gaps in enhancements following lenticular refractive surgery. Those completing this CME activity can earn 1.25 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™.
The second webinar is Excimer in the Finishing Role: Therapeutic Regularization and Refractive Refinement. This is a non-CME activity.
Finishing the Job: The Playbook for Refractive Enhancements symposium will serve as the capstone to the "Closing the Gap" refractive webinar series. It will provide a comprehensive playbook for managing enhancements after both lenticular and keratorefractive procedures. In an era of high patient expectations, the expert panel will review the complete diagnostic workflow used to identify the source of dissatisfaction and establish clear criteria for intervention. Using a case-based approach, this session will dive deep into the definitive decision-making for choosing the right tool—from LVC and IOL exchanges to non-surgical optimization—to manage refractive surprises and achieve optimal visual outcomes.
Additional webinars in the “Closing the Gap” series from other ASCRS Clinical Committees can be found in the ASCRS CME Education Catalog.
