Grand Rounds Cases
Case description:
1) This case demonstrates a DALK performed for a patient with keratoconus and prior acute corneal hydrops which was complicated by stromal rejection following medication noncompliance. This presentation is unique in that the rejection took on a Sands of Sahara morphology.
2) This case demonstrates a DALk performed on an unstable keratoconus patient compilation by full thickness rupture during stromal dissection. Rather than converting to PK, DALK was completed with excellent post-operative results.
